Rhody Run XXXII. The Rhody Run has been a local event for 32 years sponsored by the Port Townsend Marathon Association. The run is held the third Sunday in May each year during the Rhododendron Festival. Proceeds from the events helps support high school sport programs.

ShrimpFest

ShrimpFest is a Memorial weekend seafood festival. We have craft and food booths, belt sander races, exhibits, live music, children's activities, and so much more. Bring along your favorite decorated belt sander and join the racing fun at 1:00 pm each day. The tides a usually low enough during this weekend for easy harvest of clams and oysters on the public beaches near the festival (license required), and the weather is traditionally good. This is great family fun, and it's Free too! Proceeds from ShrimpFest 2010 will be donated to community projects.

Items for Sale: Japanese maples, plants (household, vegetable and ornamentals, shrubs, trees), homemade pies and pastries. Items are provided by our Club members as well as the local community. We welcome all donations. Raffle: items provided by local businesses, artists, and craftspeople. We welcome all donations.
